ScienceMan Neat Idea - Owl Pellet Dissection

It's always a fun activity to dissect owl pellets - if you've never done it before, you really should give it a try, you can learn a lot about owls and what they eat. Here's a few pictures from our grade 7 owl pellet lab:

We could not find any really good bone guides on the Internet, so the following pictures are from our grade 7 class to help you identify bones (hopefully we got them all right!) The bones are from the most common of the Owl's "victims" the pocket gopher.
