In response to a project on potential and kinetic energy, many of my physics students respond with high tech solutions, designing simulations in HTML or Interactive Physics format. But high tech is not always the best solution! Two inventive girls in my class built a swing to illustrate PE-KE conversion - it's so cute I had to show a picture!

Many students choose to do Interactive Physics simuations - I highly recommend the program (even though it can be a little buggy):
