So a long time ago I created HCU1. Over the years my wife has not
complained (allthough I am not sure why) about my inventions... other
than switches not being clearly labeled. (editorial note--Someone
may have selective hearing)
She did say that she dreams of the day when a small thing can do the
job of the monstosity of HCU1.
Without further ado
HCU 6! The Future of tomorrow today! Almost
catching up to a smart phone app, but I cannot relinquish control of
the thermostat to just anyone, even if I love her.
Yes
there are two of them. #2 is not yet complete. I have learned
long ago that if a failure is going to happen it will happen on a
saturday night
about 3:00AM, durring a storm, at -40*C, and probable still hammered
from the party that lasted till 2:00AM.
And a close up of the display:
The display can show if the old thermostat is on or off and it even
knows the temperature of the room.
You bet, these are all adjustable parameters and a lot more. Now if I
can only remember where they are and how to get to them... cause the
wife wants training on this and I better look like I know what Im doing
A look at the inside:
Wow, I need a larger, better, bigger magnifying glass!
I must admit that I sure like my 3D printer for makeing the holders for
all of the parts.
Its gonna be a long winter as there is a spousal agreement in place
that says new inventions must wait for moderate temperatures and be thoughly tested.
Much easier than a frosty house and a frigid wife.
